3 Bedroom Condo Move...... Mike, and the crew at Urban Rush Movers, exceed expectations! We were moving from a two bedroom condo with over 30 stairs to navigate, to a 3 bedroom townhouse with nearly 40 stairs to navigate. Kelvin and Eric worked solidly from the time that they arrived until the last box was placed. It was unbelievable the items that they could carry and the speed at which they were carried. They took extra time to take down a few lights in the stairwell that could potentially have been damaged from items such as mattresses, and replaced them as well. They carried 100 pound planters up three flights of stairs and barely stopped for a breath before taking the next load. Our Queen sized box spring would not go up the winding staircase, but they managed to do some ‘monkey-like’ climbing to hoist the bed up to rooftops and balconies to get the job done. They were both very personable and took pride in doing their job well. I would recommend Mike and his crew at Urban Rush for any move you may want to make as they went beyond my expectations to make the move easy for us.
Moving a household of goods from a residence of 20 years Selling and moving house is considered one of life's great stressers much of which is often attributable to watching strangers mishandle your prized possessions. But Urban Rush Movers absolutely defied the stereotype of the dreaded movers. They arrived promptly, they were courteous, respectful, efficient and most appreciated was the care they took with my treasures. And the billing was exactly as anticipated – no last minute surprises, and no trying to eke out an extra 15 minutes of billing. (actually their 15 minute incremental billing is one of the reasons I chose them.) They really are great. I have no problem recommending them to any of my friends.
Pernell and Ben were polite and moved us fast with minimal impact on our belongings. We were only allowed to book the elevator for 3 hours in our new apartment building but these two fellows got us moved in within that time frame. They moved the contents of our one-bedroom apartment in a 1-ton truck, and though it was a tight fit, they were able to get things in there safe and sound. I would recommend these movers if you need someone fast and affordable.

The “BEST” movers ever! Calvin(the driver) even carried extra screws, otherwise my two beds wouldn't have been able to be assembled. They were fast(Eric & Jeremy) were excellent! I can't say enough about them and I've used many movers. I would HIGHLY recommend this group of guys, they work well together.

Urban Rush movers helped our moving day be stress free! Before the move they assessed our belongings to give a fairly accurate estimate of the cost involved (online survey and phone interview). On moving day, they kept us informed about arrival times, and were very punctual. They got to work immediately and had the truck loaded quickly and efficiently. They were very friendly and handled our furniture and boxes with care. Unloading at the new place was just as quick. They placed our furniture where we wanted it, and placed boxes in the rooms as the boxes were marked. Moving our one bedroom basement suite took 3.45hours, including 15minutes of travel time! I was beyond impressed with the service we received. We would definitely use Urban Rush movers again, and recommend them to friends and family. You will be happy!

The movers arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and they did a great job moving us. They took great care of all our belongings – and our walls and floors (including a brand new hardwood floor where we were moving to) – there was not one dent in any of the walls in two staircases even. We were really pleased and would use you again and would definitely recommend you to anyone moving locally.
We are seniors and found the thought of moving quite daunting. Unable to do the move ourselves, we checked the BBB for listings of approved movers and were referred to your web site. We were reassured by reading all of the positive testimonials from satisfied customers and decided to use Urban Rush Movers. Are we glad we did! From the first phone call with Mike at the office, to the last item being unloaded, the entire process was smooth, professional and efficient. Both ends of the move were somewhat challenging (a very old, slow and SMALL elevator at the point of origin, and two flights of inside stairs at our destination), but the movers handled everything with kid gloves and were very respectful, understanding and extremely helpful. Protective carpeting was laid down to keep the floors clean, which was a nice bonus as it was the end of November and somewhat damp outside. Not a thing was damaged, because the movers were so careful with all of our possessions. A quote from Mike was given over the phone during our first contact with him, and confirmed via e-mail. There were no hidden charges and everything was just as Mike had guaranteed. The movers arrived on time and handled everything beautifully. We would definitely recommend your company to our friends and would use Urban Rush Movers again, should we ever need to make another move in the future. Five stars for customer service! *****

My experience with moving companies has been to expect short, overweight, balding, sweaty older gentlemen. So this move did not meet my expectations at all. Jason and Werner were tall, slim, full heads of hair, non-sweaty young men! Even my dog liked them. I was very happy with the service provided and wouldn't request anything different.

Your two men were so kind and gentle with my mother who is 82, frail, and still in shock over my father's sudden death two months ago. They did a wonderful job in spite of the crazy weather and traffic. We were able to leave Mission hours earlier than expected due to their professional and caring manner, leaving everything in their capable hands. No matter how exhausted and frazzled we were, your men never lost their smiling, good humour. They even brought in 2 chairs first so that Mom and I could have a place to sit.

I want to commend your sales department and your movers on a great job. Although I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, I ended up with way too much stuff. Your movers were patient and extremely careful with my rare collection of records and prized record players. My boxes were heavy and awkward but they managed to carefully move my stuff with no damage or breakage. They were very professional and courteous at all times. Because of our rush they took no breaks. You were so right in recommending we use the 5 ton truck. There was not a square inch of space left in the truck. I will highly recommend your company.
